The 2012 Greek commemorative for naval history features a reverse design of an ancient trireme, that iconic warship which outmaneuvered Persian fleets at Salamis.

It's a bimetallic 2-euro piece, struck at the Athens mint with a mintage estimated around 800,000, though exact figures might have been muddled in EU records. The obverse includes the standard Greek coat of arms, but it's the trireme that draws the eye, with its oars etched in fine detail that reminds me of handling actual artifacts.
