These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Coin Value Tracker website at coinvaluetracker.com (the "Website") and the Coin Vault AI mobile application (the "App"), collectively referred to as the "Services," operated by Coin Value Tracker ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Services

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes related to coin collecting, numismatic research, and precious metal tracking. You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Services using automated means without our written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Redistribute or resell data obtained from the Services

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Website (Pro)

  • Pro subscriptions on the Website are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis.
  • You may cancel at any time through your account settings or Stripe billing portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

App (Coin Vault AI)

  • In-app subscriptions are billed through Apple and are subject to Apple's terms of service.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
  • Refund requests for App purchases must be directed to Apple.
  • Subscription pricing may vary by region and is displayed in local currency.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Services use artificial intelligence to provide coin identification, grading estimates, market analysis, and price projections. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated analysis is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional appraisal, investment advice, or financial guidance.
  • AI grading estimates are approximations and should not replace professional coin grading services (e.g., PCGS, NGC).
  • Price projections are speculative and we make no guarantees about future coin values.
  • You should independently verify any information before making purchasing or selling decisions.

5. Market Data and Pricing

Coin prices, metal spot prices, and market data displayed on the Services are sourced from third parties including eBay, Numista, and precious metal data providers. We strive for accuracy but:

  • Prices may be delayed, estimated, or unavailable for certain coins.
  • Melt values are calculated based on reported composition data and current spot prices, which may contain inaccuracies.
  • eBay market prices reflect recent listing data and may not represent actual sale prices.
  • We are not responsible for errors in third-party data.

6. Affiliate Links

The Services contain affiliate links to eBay and other third-party marketplaces. We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our coin data or analysis.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including their design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted data and third-party coin data), are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Coin catalog data is provided by Numista and is used under license.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of photos, portfolio data, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and store that content solely to provide the Services to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Website or App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
