The 1907 Swedish 5 öre coin was struck at the Swedish State Mint in Stockholm, using a bronze alloy that included copper from Falun mines, a source dating back to the Middle Ages.

This made it a practical choice for everyday transactions in a nation still adapting to industrial changes. The obverse shows the head of King Oscar II, facing right, while the reverse features the Swedish coat of arms with the denomination and date. It's unremarkable in design, really, just a small, thin disc meant to jingle in pockets.
