This 1/24 Thaler from Prussian Poland in 1799 was struck as part of a currency standardization effort in territories recently annexed from Poland.

Weighing about 1.3 grams and composed of .375 fine silver, it circulated alongside larger denominations to facilitate trade in a volatile economy. The obverse typically bore the bust of Frederick William III, reflecting Prussian authority over the region. Mintage figures remain unclear, as records from that era are spotty.
