Switzerland primarily struck gold francs during that era, like the 20 Franc coin, which weighed in at about 6.45 grams of pure gold and served as a stable trade piece amid post-war economies. If a 2 Ducat existed, it might have been an informal label for a larger gold piece, perhaps echoing the historical ducat standards from neighboring regions, but that's just speculation based on patterns I've seen. Mintage details, if any, aren't in the standard references I rely on, and I wouldn't swear to its authenticity without solid evidence. It's easy for enthusiasts to mix up denominations—after all, not every shiny gold coin is what it claims to be. As for jokes, well, calling it a "ducat" might just be someone trying to gild the lily.
